“ Solvang Brewing Company absolutely delivered a 5/5 experience! The pretzels were hands-down the best I've ever had--soft, warm, and perfectly paired with their dips. The service was fantastic, with a friendly and welcoming staff that made the visit even better. Bonus points for being pup-friendly, which made it a great spot for the whole family, including our furry friend. The wings were packed with flavor, and the beer was crisp and refreshing--a perfect combo. The overall vibes were spot-on, with a chill, relaxed atmosphere and lovely scenery that really captured the essence of Solvang. This place is definitely a must-visit when you're in town. “ Great spot for a burger and beer! They've got TV's set up all over the place. The service was awesome. They had their beers on tap and fresh and delicious! The burger was delicious as well! We were there in the evening and they had portable heaters throughout and comfortable seating Definitely will go back! Do yourself a favor and visit, you will not be disappointed! ”
“ On a weekend adventure on a beautiful weekday, I stopped by this place with some friends. Felt like grabbing a bite for lunch and quick drink. Service was friendly. We sat outside which was fun as the sun was out with a nice little breeze. To drink I had a west coast IPA which was good. To eat, I had a BLT which I wasn't overly impressed with. The toast was pretty hard and hard to chew. Other than that I had a good time. Would I return? Yes, if it were for drinks and maybe an appetizer. ”
“ This rating is strictly based off their drinks. We got drinks in the day time and the evening... No, we are not alcoholics lol. While we were waiting for Paula's for breakfast, we sat here-- which was right next door-- ordered some Bloody Marys. My friend absolutely loved it. She got the works, bacon and all! I just got the basic. I enjoyed it but I didn't love it. My favorite Bloody Mary of all time resides in Mexico (review for that to come). For the evening, there's not much to do in Solvang when it comes to night life lol. After dinner, we decided to grab some drinks and chill by the fire pit before calling it a night. We stopped here once more. There's just something about sitting around a warm fire, on a cold night, with good company...I just love it. I ordered the Pineapple-Mango Express. I'm more of a mixed drink girl-- I don't do beer unless it's in a Michelada-- so it was right up my alley. I quite enjoyed it. Staff was okay (both morning and night shift). Not super friendly but nice when they did get around to helping us. A lot of available seating both inside and outside. We sat outside on both visits, watching the town's movements while we sipped on our drinks. Very chill, nice vibes. ”
“ We spent a weekend in Solvang, and the food here at the brewing company was pretty spot on. I was super bummed that they didn't have any dark beers on tap, or canned, but I opted for a mixed drink. The onion rings, and zucchini planks were delicious. It's certainly an adorable atmosphere, service was great- couldn't have asked for better, everyone was friendly. The bartender even went into the back to see if she could find an alternative beer or a can that escaped on the shelf. We had a great time, and will certainly be back to try those beers that were out- I mean, let's be honest they were probably out because they were delicious! ”
“ This is a popular eatery on the main street in downtown Solvang. It's next to a giant windmill and offers outdoor and indoor seating. The area is larger than it looks at first glance. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to order. There's a sign indicating four steps including taking a menu, deciding on your order and then placing your order with a server or waiting to be seated or ordering from one of their two bars...it's confusing. Thankfully, I didn't follow the crowd and just go to the bar window but wandered around aimlessly with my daughter and a menu, and Chris, a server, kindly walked up to us and asked if we'd like to eat outside or inside. He was extremely helpful and we decided to eat indoors in the Viking Room. The Viking Room had a tv, mirrored walls, and beautiful wood tables. There was a mix of booths, round, square and rectangular tables. There was a bar and a digital jukebox playing songs. Chris was very attentive, checking on us and ordering our food promptly. We received our garlic parmesan fries and lemonades very quickly. We also ordered the caramel filled churro which was delicious. The food was a solid 4.5 but the service was a 5. Chris was great. I know it's a tourist town but it makes a big difference having someone show kindness and offer great customer service. ”
“ I was very surprised with the food here. My family and I came to have dinner while on vacation in Solvang. First of all I chose this place because it has a lot of seating ( we were a party of 15) it was too cold outside but the indoor seating was full when we got there. My husband asked one of the waiters if it's possible to sit indoors since it's so cold he said to wait 15 looks like a few tables are getting empty he can put it together and have us dine indoors. Now that's wonderful customer service. Right away it puts you in a great mood and ambiance. Our whole family enjoyed our special time here. We ordered nachos, burgers, salads, soups, sandwiches and sausages. Everyone loved their food. I got a nachos and I gotta tell you it was the best nachos I ever had. The salad was just ok, a bit underdressed. Kids enjoyed their burgers and my husband loved his pastrami Rueben. It's a very spacious place and great for large groups dining together specially the outdoor area. You place your order then look for a table to sit. On a nice warm day this would be the best place to spend time at. They serve variety of beer and cocktails. Overall a great place in Solvang that I have never been to even though I have been in Solvang more than thirty times. Great customer service. ”
“ One of the BEST BLOODY MARY I've had! Loaded! Added bacon! BOMB.COM It was right next to Paula's pancake & decided to pop in for a drink and it was the best decision we made! (We end up going back for round 2 on the same trip!) Next time I definitely want to try the food! Lots of outdoor seating and in the evening they had fire pits to stay cozy! Awesome spot for grab of friends to gather around. East to order with the outdoor window and can even purchase beer to go! Service was ok given the busy crowds it can take a bit to order but I would come again! ”
